    alright.. have all my CB stuff ready to install tomorrow. bought a PA bought realized it was the wrong kind. found what i wanted/needed online and ordered two things for the price of the original PA i bought. bummed it wont all be done this weekend but oh well. should be here next friday.

    Installed my Uniden 520xl CB today. Install went great, ran everything nice and neat. The Firestik is installed using the two tailgate pillar bolts. after a small amount of opening the holes up on the antenna mount.. it lined up perfectly. i drilled a hole in the pillar for the coax using a step-up bit.. then a grommet to clean it up. grounded the antenna using a fender bolt behind the tail light. all thats left is the PA speaker and external speaker. both plug n play really.

    heres the PA speaker. mounted behind the driver side fog light. I convienently found two bolts that hold two body panels together, that were the exact same width apart as the mounting bracker for the PA.. i simply removed the two bolts, and re threaded them through the mounting plate.

    its pretty loud.. can be heard over the engine clearly. very pleased with it.
