Hey guys so after thinking about it........I was thinking that I would be up for 50-70 bucks for the registration including a single shirt. 10-12 bucks for each additional shirt and then another 15-20 for each raffle ticket past the one that is included with the registration. Just a couple more cents to add to the pot.

 

For the raffle.......just to let you know how they handle it at Cruise Moab. Each ticket is $1. Buy a ton of tickets and increase your odds. I scored big one year. Spent $50 on tickets and came home with $500 worth of prizes. There are people at CM that spend a few hundred bucks on raffle tickets. They are willing to drop the money because it goes to a good cause (supporting the event, as well as donations to orgs like Blue Ribbon Coalition), but they also have some awesome prizes. Typically have a full set of tires, roof racks, roof top tents, winches there are some sick prizes that makes it worth the gamble if you end up with one.

so IMO no reason to charge a lot for each ticket, just buy more tickets (or less if you don't want to spend the $)

 

now I'll shut up. I've said WAY too much already. Just do your thing with the event. I'm sure you'll have plenty of interest regardless.

That is a good point. Cheap tickets and crazy good prizes + great organizations to give some of the proceeds to. Excellent idea.

 

Cheap tickets is a good idea. Most of us are barely going to make it let alone have the funds to pay for a bunch of shit when we get there. For you guys who have aweosme jobs and can throw down extra cash thats cool but for the rest of us especially students, there is no way we are going to be able to afford to pay a bunch of fees and buy tickets.

 

Joe and i coulda won damn near everything there ha it would be nice if they were cheaper for everyone.

 

I'm with Mark. The parts will come eventually, especially once you get out of school and have a good job. Once you are at that point in your life you can't trade those parts for a good time in Moab with friends next May...
