While I like my "Undercover" solid cover, it is not completely watertight. I parked my truck in the sun, opened the tailgate and closed the cover. I could see light coming in around the hinges. I was able to seal the leaks with weather stripping fairly easily. I should not have had to do that. Looking closely at the cover I can tell that it was not an installation issue but a design issue.

Wonder if it's a design issue due to different trucks? Never had a drop in mine on my Ram.

I'll put in another vote for the Fold-A-Cover. It looks nice, is easy to operate and keeps the bed secure and dry. No problem at all carrying plywood with the cover folded forward. Complete removal is a 5 minute job if you need the whole bed. I'm very happy with it.

Installed my fold-a-cover Elite G4 today. The new install method is without adhesive on the side rails is awesome. This is a fantastic cover!

Just purchased a Bak Roll-x from http://www.truckchamp.com/products/T...ide-36407.html. Got a very good buy with free shipping. I'm hoping it is as good as the ads say... I spoke with Alston who was very knowledgeable and says "If I still have a job after this sale, just ask for me at x2208.

That was an eternity ago...I had a quick install of the cover only to find that one side of the cover would not latch! The right side(passenger) of the cover was a 1/4" too long! Bak Industries was very good with solutions and things to try. Suggesions ran the gambit...they had me try everything from cutting the bedliner to this and that> The problem is the unit is very new and not many issues arose until mine did.
I will say this; Bak Industries were willing to do whatever it took including having their local rep make the corrections and they'd pay the bill. It wasn't necessary... The problem , the roll-x cover uses hugh washers to hold down the cover. By reducing the size of the washer, I was able to fit the cover latch with no cost to Bak or me!!!

I am well pleased with the cover. It fits very nicely and with the added Dynolock Tailgate Lock, which took me 2 hours to do(mostly running the wires as neatly as possible) I feel good about both purchases.

I learned one thing for sure, Things are never as they seem, skim milk masquerades as creme"!!!:D

I am saving up for a Diamond back cover.. I currently have the Tri-Fold cover Toyota sells.. Which I believe is an Extang but don't quote me.

I saw the same thing when i installed my classic Undercover. However, i think that even though you can see light in the corners, the way they developed the weatherstripping towards the cab/rear window allows water to run off and not get in those corners showing light. I have had no problem with moisture/water getting in mine, love it!

Sorry for the late reply TruckGuy616. I was not able to use the rail system or cleats. Bak provides a set of rails which are installed in place of toyo's rails. Nix on the cleats as well. Still working on workarounds for both.
