9 in Suspension Lift?

I have a 99 taco but i'm thinking of selling it and getting a 2nd gen. tacoma. Are there any 9 in i.f.s. suspension lifts out there, or do I have to do a 6 in kit with a 3 in body lift?

 

Why would you want 9" lift? What are you planning on doing with it?

 

I like to 4x4 and I like ground clearance getting high centered sucks. Plus it looks bad ass and it's still short enough to battle the jeep trails.

 

u can get a procomp or fabtech 6" with the coilovers and crankem up 2" and get a total of 8" with out killing your cv boots. u can do that on your 99 as well that is what i did on my 99 when i had it. mine take a look:

Wow, seems excessive. But I'm just verbalizing my initial reactions.

Don't take my comments as anything but just honest expressions of my thoughts.

I took a 4X4 class and the instructor said a three inch lift, and tires and winch would handle just about every situation out there.

 

ERDept is spot on, although they look good lifted, it is more about skill and assessing the terrain ahead of you. A good set of tires and a proper approach will get you farther.
