    the two with the nuts go in the support the tow hook is welded to. The other with the hole goes on the inside of the frame rail and gets bolted through. You gotta drill a hole through the frame and into that plate for the second bolt.....a little weird, how it was done....they could've just used the second hole already in the frame...:rolleyes:

    I took mine off, and if you do the same you should removed the nut and bolt that holds them together or you will get a pretty bad rattle
    If you look at the front of your truck with the bumper & plastic removed on the bottom there are 2 bolts that hold on a metal bracket that sticks out from them, removed the bolts + brackets and the 2 top plates go there, the bottom ones need a new hole in each one, they go inside the frame as extra support for the braces
