My lift kit is on the way...

I just ordered my Toytec lift kit! I ordered the 3" spacer and add a leaf. I plan on installing it myself. So any advice or do's and dont's are welcome.

Also, how many six packs (how long) does this typically take to install?

 

Took me 5 hours with air tools and no help other than handing me tools. I have no suspension experience, and didn't have any beer with me so you mileage may vary.

I've been all over this board and haven't seen this question answered yet. I hope I'm not out of line asking it here, so here goes.

How does the rear suspension TSB affect the ToyTec lift? Would I still need to get the AAL or would I omit it?

I asked Toytec the same question and they said don't worry about the TSB. Your basicly doing it with their AAL.

 

But if you already have the TSB then you should look into a small block instead of an AAL. Or get the TSB and buy the block instead of the AAL if it's cheaper, and save yourself some money.
