I'll be sipping some crown next to a fire pit up in the canyon tonight. Proly burn a cigar or two as well.

    Hey All,
Just thought I'd chime in here. I had an 05 Double cab long bed Sr5 and ended up trading for a 2008 Tundra limited in April of this year. I can't tell you how much I missed the Taco. As of this last Tuesday, I brought home a 2011 Access cab TRD Off Road and couldn't be happier.
The Tundra was super nice, but also HUGE and a lot of truck for a daily driver. Had I needed to haul large items in the bed on a regular basis or tow often, I think it would have been worth keeping. Something else I missed was the simplicity of the Tacoma, re HVAC controls and just overall use.

I hear ya on getting in and out, I'm 6'2" but hasn't been an issue for me.

Just my $.02, for what it's worth.

    Cheers

Yeah I want to do one but mine has to be propane In denver. My buddy built his with rocks he found on his land. It's massive, we will have at least a 6ft flame in this thing. This winter if you want to do some snowshoeing we leave from his house and trek around, we both tele ski but I have two pairs of snowshoes if your interested in some winter fun

Welcome back to the Tacoma world. Don't worry there is a Tundra guy creeping in here from time to time but he is harmless. :D
I have always wanted to try some snow shoeing. I might just take you up on that.
    Are you drinking already?:p

Off to Lowe's. Found a pit I like on sale for end of season. It will work for now until I get my patio in back built. it is getting a built in pit when it is done.
