    hey while u here
    any recommendation's on an ok polisher kit for my truck.....
    going to sand down the whole quarter tomm..and paint then need to clear and polish after
    dont have a ton of money to spend on one.....
    i know u go top end.....
    i need an entry level one as im not going for perfect here...

    just doing the body work is a challenge...
    guess i should have stayed another semister in auto body class in high school......':eek:

    I'm getting ready to have ole red resprayed in a couple months. Moab was tough on the paint this year. I used an aggressive polishing compound when we got back and though it looks better than it did, it still looks like shit!:(

    23 miles and 2.5 hours of ATV sized trail with the worst scrub you can imagine. Ben thought I was gonna have a break down.:(

    Tape up a few inches around your cut line and do your first cut a bit shy of your line and then make your final cut. Take your time. Is the bottom of your tail light the cut line?

    When you get it cut prime and paint cut and then put door trim on. Its pretty easy. Are you using a grinder?

    yes its the bottom of the tail light.... and yes i will be using a grinder...
    as i am a surgeon with one....."use it for work " used to be often...
    im going to leave a tab that i can fold under and run a support over to frame
