Just for reference, that log is nearly 3ft in diameter.

The baby dozer wasn't pulling some of the logs, so we got a tractor and a snatch block in there to help out. Works like a charm!

That trail is Rocky Uphill, and is sorta off to the side of the access road. Completely avoidable.

Looking into driving up to the Olympics Monday for three days. Where's the best sites to see up there? We'll be camping both nights in the national Forrest. Looking at the hurricane ridge area for one night. What else is good? Ol lady doesn't like to hike more then a few miles so that's outta the question. Probably head up 101 Monday morning and return through Tahuya on wed for a little romp. (ol lady's never been).

i was pulling a tree a bit smaller than that with my taco in 4low. 4 cylinder powered, 1st gear dragging it around. you just have better toys for pulling. must have been one heavy ass tree if that small dozer couldn't pull it alone.

It was pulling it on level ground, but we had a steep half mile hill climb to where we are dumping them. Now I'm half tempted to hook my yota up to it and give it a pull...

I was just looking for the alloy to have as my 5th. Got a lead on one from out in Florida, but if I cant' pick it up I might have to rethink things. I certainly don't want 8 matching rims on top of the 5 other rims I already have to get rid of

i have a 3 ball stinger i have in the receiver all the time, along with a 30' tow strap with sewn in eyes at each end rated for 20k lbs. i hooked the tow strap onto the biggest ball (2-5/16) rated for 12k lbs, then at the other end, a chain wrapped around the tree and hooked to itself with a couple shackles, then a big shackle to hook chain to tow strap. the first few tries at moving the tree, it didn't have much give, so i had to jerk it, but once i got it out of where it was, it started to move along easily enough. i was also dragging it along pretty flat ground with 2-3 foot tall grass. if you take the tail gate off your truck and have part of the log just resting in the bed and chain it to the tow package, you should be able to drag it pretty easily, probably even in 2wd.

couldnt get a place to go and the guy with the employee discount didnt seem much of a deal considering i assume we would still have paypal fee's + shipping to pay.

    i purchased this one,
    http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/p...ro-2-Motorsports-Camera-with-Free-4GB-SD-Card
figured all the mounting hardware + a 4GB sd card made up for the little I might have saved.
