Thanks. We'll see if ours is used to it or not. She usually comes by for a couple of nights then disappears for a couple of weeks, so it'll take time to know for sure. But then I haven't been outside yet this morning. As for trapping them, We know there are at least two of them. Our friends have seen a black colored one in addition to this reddish brown one (and their shed had black hair caught on it).

Maybe I need to get a gun and rubber bullets. Rig something up that points at the can at night. lol If I had the inclination, I'd invent a bear proof can that worked with the mechanical arms on the trash trucks. I have an idea on that but no idea how to implement. Don't have time anyway.

EDIT: Yep, ammonia doesn't work. Same garbage is strewn up the driveway.

Ugh so annoyed. I put my SAW 2.0's in last night and planned on taking my 4runner to the alignment place this morning under warranty. Well I got there and I was 300 miles over the limit for the warranty. So I would have to buy another alignment for $80, but the place sucks and is out of the way. So much for a cheap swap.

Anyone have any experience with Firestone? I know they vary by the location, but I'm tempted to get the Lifetime Warranty.

i think its worth it, but the wait usually sucks and they are not very good at doing alignment, but for 100 something dollars what do you expect.

    ...too much shit to list.
Fuck Firestone. Which one you planning on going to (I'm guessing Santa Cruz)? Both the one in Cambell and the one on Tully looked at my truck and said fuck off. The one in Milpitas screwed the alignment up more than they helped it. I was going to the one in Mountain View cause it was close to my old job and they did a good enough job, but I got sick of driving over there every fucking time I need an alignment. I ended up with like 6 alignments in less than 5 months because those numb nuts couldn't get it right, (or they forgot to to tighten the camber bolts down...true story). In the end I told them how bad they sucked and they just refunded the full amount.

Now i do them in my driveway. Comes out way better and takes less time.

Yeah I'm not planning on any other front end work, unless I get inspired to do LBJ's and TRE's. I have a Firestone right around the corner from my job, so no wait for me as I'll just leave it with them and walk to work. Last time I checked it was $160 though. I have a guy that I know will get it right for $60, but I'm sick of paying for them all the time.

I remember you telling me about this at the last Hollister trip. That's what steered me away from it in the first place. I'm going to the one in Watsonville and may tell them I want to make sure the alignment is done right before forking over all the money for the lifetime. No point paying all that if they can't get it done right.

That was the problem with this last place. I took it to them four times in 2 months because they couldn't get it done right. Eventually I took it to another shop and he had it just about perfect in an hour. They asked if I wanted to pay the full price again, but I definitely wasn't going to give them anymore money.

BTW, any 1st gen guys looking for a lift? I have my old lift consisting of TRD Tundra coils and Tundra Bilstein 5100's (the front portion of the Sonoran Steel 1.2 front). It's set at the 2nd setting and which is ~2.5" of lift. No issues at all and less than a year old. Looking to get $300

That's how this one guy I took it to is. I told him it was lifted and all he asks me is it on 40's or 44's. Right then I knew he would get it right.

This was driving out to one of my favorite camping places on Friday; I'm not quite home yet. There was nobody else out there at all except at the other end of the lake so there were a few boats that ventured all the way out but that's it, other than coyotes & a small herd of cattle. It was incredibly windy but the Softopper was fine.

In Sparks I also saw a first gen 4runner, it looked brand new. It was in such perfect shape. The guy had the top off, his kids grinning in the back seats in the sun. I've always wanted one (or an old Bronco, shh) and this didn't help.

If there was a meet up in Nor Cal would this be the thread that it would be announced?
