    Thanks Ben, It does make it look more aggressive.

    No, not MTs. It says Dayton Timberline on the sidewall. They are big and heavy and quite noisy on the highway.


    I don't like the way these drive. They make the steering feel vague and the faster I go, the worse it is. On the freeway, I can be in the next lane real easy if I'm not paying close attention. Almost as if I lost all of my caster. :notsure:

    They definitely rob power too. More downshifting on the slightest incline. And yes, they rub a lot. Could not wheel them without serious mods to the pinch weld area.

    I can definitely see why you get lousy mpgs around town.

    But they do look badass. :eek:

    and i think its just the wider tire that makes the steering like that :notsure: You and Ben both felt that way about my rig..

    33s are definitely in my future, its a question of if they will be 255/80-17s or 33x10.5-15s

    More tire. more air. Less psi than smaller tires. I found they compressed when going around corners and gave the truck more body roll

    I like the look of the 285's I have but have been thinking of going to a skinnier tire. Better on the MPG's slightly and better in the rocks scientifically.

    It would probably smarter to get the 255/80/17's since you already have those wheels and just put the money toward a matching spare.

    Or we can] figure out a way to get you my 15'' D window steelies :D

    I will stay narrow. It is very functional and effecient. Current set is 255/75-17s which I have wheeled hard but got pretty tornup at moab and are also a little small at 32x110.
