Did any of your dealers try to slip some charges in on you?

It's covered under warranty. There shouldn't be any charges.

Did they try w/ you or are you worried?? If it's warranty work shouldn't be any charges or they should let you know prior to doing any extra work...

If they try to charge you anything, it's time to find another dealership.

No...not yet. Just waiting for it in the waiting room with my 4 year old. 15k mile oil change as well.....

    Dealerships in general scare me.

Nothing major or fancy. Just stuff to make it work better for me. Running boards, seat covers, BakFlip
No problems with my dealer doing the TSB. No extra charges, no BS of any kind.

They gave me the required lecture about it riding rougher, which it doesn't, but other than that, no problems.

How much higher does the back of your truck sit after the TSB?

Can this TSB be performed under the factory Toyota Extended Warranty? I've passed 36k-miles a long time ago, but still have time left on my OEM extended warranty.

Asking us is useless. The TSB says 3yr/36k warranty, but there are folks who had had it done outside that. Talk with the service guys at your dealership of choice.

Done....had this done with my 15k mile service in about 4.5 hours. Not too bad....

Either way, it looks nice, and rides better. Now for the 5100's. It's nice to see 3 pieces of paper with $0.00 :)

    yes

they "stapled" my carpet mats to the floor carpet (with those plastic things used to put price tags on clothing)

It feels stiffer. Also, when I went over bumps in the road, my truck didn't "hop"....It just feels sturdier.

They also did an alignment and the shimmy at 60mph is miraculously gone. lol They had refused to do an alignment earlier because the tires weren't put on by....them! whatever. Either way, it's gone and the truck rides better.

Definitely can tell the height increase. I haven't measured, but it looks to be about an inch higher now.
