    X2 I didn't realize it was there, until 8 months after owning my truck. Just put your "P" or "QP" in Saran wrap, rub Vaseline over the wrap, and black pepper on top. Then tape it under your seat.....lol

    My Dad and his brother are both retired LEO. Dad was the county's chief investigator and my uncle worked for the State Patrol and then the Marshal Service, he still serves papers for his local S.O.. Both will tell you stories about people giving them permission to search vehicles and homes that could have and should have just told them to pound sand. And they both couldn't give a shit less about a little pot. Dad would said he would always try to use it to strong arm info out of them about any stolen goods or real drug dealing they might know about. They both always told me to deny consent to search if I'm ever pulled over or harassed. It's the principal of the matter, and most road riders don't know Constitutional Law from a hole in the ground.

    My interest here is to find the ideal spot to stash a .45 pistol. I have a concealed weapons permit and on occasion I need to leave a gun in the truck. The cupholder deal is the only thing so far that has any promise. I'll probably buy a steel box and bolt it under the seat. I'll sleep better with that. :cool:
