    hey guys!!! been a while since i been on.. sorry seems like i missed out on a lot. so i have got a little mobbing in lately but i was wondering you guys were going to be doing any local meets so i can finally meet you guys? i am off on fridays and saturdays so i get bummed the meets are always on wednesdays and sundays it seems like lol and i work late so i wouldnt be able to meet you all during the week.. :(

    so I just noticed my rear diff seems to be leaking.. Looks like the seal is worn out... Im sure its gonna be fun and probably expensive to fix

    its dripping, driveway has a few small stains. Doesn't seem to be leaking all that much but it's bugging me and I don't want my driveway looking like shit..

    I could sure use some help fixing it, I'm sure it will be a great learning experience..Hell why don't I just get gears while I'm at it

    do it, but front and rear gears plus install can easily run over $1K.

    If it is dripping a little bit, dont worry. Just tighten up the bolts, and pop open the filler to see if you are low.

    i havent repacked grease into them before, but I have removed the boots, and it takes literally 5 minutes with the axle off the truck.

    I would first to check the nuts to the studs that hold the diff the to axle housing. They come loose overtime and that's just the norm for the rear axle. Be Carefull not to over torque the nuts or you'll strip them just like how hiatte did lol.
