Anybody down for a Yosimite trip sometime in the spring? Nothing set in stone yet, just an idea.

Also, this is short notice but if anyone wants to tag along I'm going to try and hit up some of the more remote campsites up by Big Bear over the labor day weekend.

I agree 100% manny, the Tacoma trio, or The Pep Boyz, or (God forbid) The 3 Stooges....:eek::eek::D

Seriously though , all 3 are stand up guys & I'm honored to consider them my friends, & ya know.... Life is just too short, (shorter for me of course :D)

Embrace & cherish the good times, bury & forget the bad.... we roll...;)

Yosimite is awesome but keep in mind it'd be a late spring thing (which is better) Theres still snow ass deep into April & early May IIRC, good idea though...

Yeah, it's still a rough idea I barely came up with today. Looking for something more out of the ordinary than Ocotillo or even Big Bear. I've been checking out the official park website for more info.

Like I said, if anyone is interested we can start working on some dates that work for everyone. I have plenty of leave saved up but I'm sure most of y'all would have to take vacation days.

I've got 4 TRD fender flairs to sell off of my '00 if anyones interested, the pass. side rear needs a little repair but if you know glass its an easy fix $150 for the set (w/hardware) They sell for $75-$100 each at wrecking yard when you can find them, & around $200+ each at dealer IIRC...

The one on left is the one needing repair (obliviously)

Well, all I can say is thanks for the kind words, I want to see something put together or re-energize whats already established, either way I just want to offroad with good folks and have fun, like Doug stated, life is too short.

On another note, Damn Arizona was crazy with wind and thunder storms this weekend.

    LOL

well Doug, the Deaver soap oprea continues...

so a portion of the spring that is most active is negative arced, the ends roughly 4-6 inches, after doing a small test its truly the only portions of the spring that really moves. And since they told us to cut and fold over the leaf shackles the spring is like a pogo stick, like you had mentioned they aren't cycling properly. Going to a custom hanger and rear shackle, however the leaf is junk and will have to be reworked or just replaced. Ill post a few pics, I hope I was able to catch it in a photo.

Hey so-cal guys, our good friend pro-force (Anthony) is going under the knife today. Shoot one up for him if you think about it. Shoulder surgery I believe he said.

Best I could take without crawling under the truck, under load most the spring negatively arcs on the ends and the 3/4-center portion does not, or very very little. If you look close enough you can see about 4 inches or so from the shackle the top 2 leafs are Arced negatively, top of the spring looks like an old hunting Bow.

You haven't had much luck with the Deaver pack. Maybe a Allpro pack? I really liked my Allpro standard duty pack.

Yup, pretty much done with Deaver, they weren't cheap either. im thinking about having National make me a set, and or OMD the truck, I bet Doug's work like leafs are suppose to.

I will be doing a new hanger and shackle from James, close to Eddies.

I would like to straight trade my KM2's for some AT/KO's in a 285/75/16 with about 10-12K miles on them.

I've been driving quite a bit for work lately and would like to go with a more road compliant tire.

I am located in San Diego and figured we could meet at a discount tire and each pay for our unmounting/mounting.

tires are in good shape with about 500 miles of actual offroad use.

    thanks for looking
