Lol I made some sludge yesterday...chunky natural pb and protein with some heavy cream. Tons of protein, lots of good fats and almost no carbs. Shaped it into bars and stuck that shit in the fridge. LOL!

Lemme tell you what though, that agave nectar is some far out stuff. Its all natural and sweeter then refined sugar!

I compete in NPC. Off season, starting to bulk again after an injury. I'm about 220 right now, I'll hit 235-240 and cut down to 215 by April of next year. D10271FB-0CE7-402F-80C6-3710A265657D-178_b094e854a69c8fa01285464e80c98c0007e44fcb.jpg

It's still a "clean" bulk as far as food quality goes. But a lot of my buddy's are IFBB pros. In the off season, their body fat is pretty high and they have huge guts. Compared to them, I'm doing an extremely low body fat bulk.

Here's by buddy Ryan. He's also a nutritionist for bodybuilders who have done very well. 5E4B9273-3C14-4685-AC08-51F4EC297D73-185_daf7426c017d58ede4fc7ec0354de951205a3c02.jpg and then show

I'm going by what I'm told to do now. I've done shows before, placed 5th out of 18 in the Florida state championships 6 months after my injury and after dropping close to 25 lbs from not lifting. I've used other diets before, I'm going to try theirs out now

So working 60 hours a week and then finding the motivation to go to the gym isn't working out for me.

So I am putting together a home gym.

Bench, power rack, and olympic bar are in place.

What's a good set of olympic plates? are does it really matter than much?

I have never found motivation from a home gym. But if it works for you great!!!

And I don't think it really matters that much. Rubber coated if you plan on dropping the weights. Ivanco is a good brand.

Well with a home gym I no longer have an excuse to not work out.

def get bumper plates (rubber coated plates like aaron said).

some medicine balls, kettle bells, couple different weigth dumbbells, and a pull up/dip rack would be very beneficial as well

Theres no reason to go above 10% in the off season. IMO, many unfortunately, use the "off season" excuse to eat too much food. Even If it's clean food, it's still food. Too much of a good thing may and can be a bad thing.
I've gone down that route 2x after shows and hated it. To each their own though.

    Nice hammy drop.

What ever your coach advises, go with it. It's why you pay him.

It's funny how our bodies respond to various ways and food. I went thru 3 coaches before I'm 99% sure I have a great one now.

Lol not a pro, nor my long term goal. I just love competing because of the discipline, mind challenges you overcome and not many will do it.
    Thanks though brotha.
