Both look good, I'm assuming you are happier with the new rig but which one did you find rides nicer?

IT"s about the same but the rear on my 2012 with the 6" lift is stiff.

The major differance i noticed was gas (might be cause the 2012 is new)? even thought the wheels and tires are the same

And I am now getting waves buy other tacoma / FJ / Jeep drivers. A Jeep pulled next to my on 95 the other day reached across his jeep to give me a thumbs up and pointed at my truck lol

they are 285-70-R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers on 17" Motometel rims.
Minor triming was required on the 3" but no trimming at all on the 6"

glad u decided to get a 6 with ur new truck. 6's look waaaaay better than 3's. but 3's are way cheaper. i rather pay the money for the 6. come to hawaii and you'll see a lot of lifted tacos. i got a 6 susp and 3 body.

Fabtech with coilovers. Cost an arm and a leg but it runs smooth on the sand! :)

6 inch would be sick but 3 inch is ideal for just driving around and still look good to

Rancho front lift coilover 2.75" 1.5" toytec rear blocks Rancho rs9000xl rear shocks. PIAA lights Grillcraft grill. Mickey Thompson Classic Lock Black wheels. Toyo open country 265/75-16 tires.
2.75" lift, Rancho quick lift, about $181 ea for front and $197 for rear shocks from Amazon and $145.00 for 1.5" rear blocks from Toytec. Sits level now, had 1" blocks and wasn't level. Cost a little extra to get the "1.5 in. Did everything myself, but the wheels and tires plus alignment, that cost about $2000.00, so about $2700.00.
