i have nittos and i love them! i dont notice them being too heavy for the truck! my truck will still roll when neded! with the lift, tires, and rims, my mpg only went down like 1.5.....but i do baby my truck lol i agree with most of the guys above, nittos will be better for more of a dd and swampers for a mainly mud truck

Yea I was giving my 0.2 cents about my experience with the terra which did not hold up well at all and he wants something to last

Edit: they did look decent and were quiet on highway though and I drove 85% freeway so I expected better

    or

give in to the "oh so mighty"

    KM2s -- weight: 64lbs D Rated.

I know there hasn't been a lot of good to say about 4wheelonline (I've seen the reviews) but I think If i can get on the phone with them and arrange the tires to be delivered after 5 I'll be alright. A lot of bad reviews came from the fact they won't release the signature approval. They only want $310/tire for the swampers, free shipping.

    I'd go with the MT/RK s or KM2's.
unless the majority of the time you spend in the truck is offroad, the swampers aren't the ideal choice....

after 20k miles they will be completely bald, and you will have endured hours of WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMP

of course we all have different deffinitions of loud, but the swampers realy aren't that bad relative to slightly less agressive tires. i haven't owned a set (yet), but have ridden in a nice veriety of vehicles with them on and off road. if you wheel with any kind of frequency, it's well worth a little extra noise. but like i said, that's subjective.

That's the biggest thing I'm worried about, especially since I'm bout 60% on/40% off. I'm not so worried about the noise. I've grown up around noisy tires my whole life. Plus, I have the gf to drown out the noise

They're just so gosh damn sexy but I can't justify spending 1.3k on a set of tires that are only gonna last me 20k. I don't want the KM2s. They're too ehhh, and everyone around here has them. If I can sweet talk my way with 4wheelparts in selling me some mt/r's at a good price though, I'd probably buy them. I've done it before.

I'm swapping to MT/RK's soon.. km2's are too soft for my likes

Swampers are the "choice" look for trucks around here, but very few actually wheel....
so there's a lot of swampers that go around
a lot of completely bald swampers, that is- though I can't argue that they look badass and are ridiculous offroad

Well, I ended up ordering a set of Mickey Thompson MTZ's in 35" flavor. I got a damn good deal for them. Maybe I'll try the swampers or mtr's some other time :D
