Problems with 12 taco?

    So we have less than 400 miles on the new taco and already have a problem with it. Seems that we have a bad side curtain airbag sensor.

    It seems to go off and on. Majority of the time the airbag light stays on. Of course when we took it to the dealership the damn thing turns off but as luck would have it, the light came on as we were leaving. Turned it back around and they determined it is a faulty passenger side airbag sensor.

    I just wanted to see if anyone else was experiencing the same issue or issues in general with the 12's.

    ARE tonneau cover, Electric Pop & Lock tail gate, 2 lighter plugs in bed, Reese hitch/ factory wiring, OEM Bed Extender and fog lights.
    So far with 6k and 5 months/ no problems at all, running great. Sorry to hear about your trouble.

    N-Fab Text black 3 main tube, led interior lighting, sylvania ultra head lamps, led map/dome/license plate, rail mounted bed lights, trd skid plate, Aero Turbin muffler swap, MRBP Black Exhaust Tip, weather tech, fuel trophy, duratrac 265 70 17, plasti dip badges, Icon stage 4 suspension, TRD shift knob, AFE CAI, Raptor Light MOD.
    Dash paint started chipping around 3K miles and had to have the whole dash replaced... there are a couple threads on this 2012 issue. Might want to keep an eye out, it commonly happens around the defrost vent on the dash.

    I posted about this elsewhere already, but I'll add my experience:

    <80 miles, leaking oil. They replaced one of the valve covers and the valve cover gasket. Been ok since. 2012 AC V6 4WD

    4 days old with 166 miles I have a whistling sound at freeway speeds (there's a tsb for a new grill) and today while adjusting my rear view mirror my w/shield cracked.

    mine has never connected, well the phone part at least. I do get audio to play and I've tried everything to get the phone to connect, even reset my phone once. I'll keep an eye on that thread as well, thanks.
