Yeah, this is why Apple just became the most wealthy company in the world, period. How many Andriod/Windows programs were/are used on the Mars Rover program, that's correct, zero, it's ALL Apple driven. One more question, if Apple is so inferior, why was Samsung just ordered to pay Apple one BILLION dollars for copyright infringements.

Actually, they aren't. Not by a long shot. What you are mistaking for "wealth" is actually just market capitalization, which is the combined value of all outstanding shares of that specific corporation. In fact, market capitalization is a hugely misleading measurement of a company's "value", since it doesn't account for treasury shares, their assets, partnerships, cash reserves, or the value of other corporations owned by that parent corporation (which technically falls under assets).

Market capitalization is nothing but public opinion on the value of a corporation.

Take RIM for example; I recall hearing not long ago, that their market capitalization fell below the value of their assets, so obviously that measurement for a corporations "value" is not telling the entire story.

    So here's something I would challenge you to do;
Add up (separately), the market capitalization, assets, equity, profit of all the different hardware vendors that sell Android phones. I'll give you a little hint about what you'll see; they will all add up to more than Apple.

    In fact, how about looking at SAMSUNG alone;
    Assets: $384.3 BILLION US.
    Equity: $224.7 BILLION US.
    Employees: 344,000

    Apple:
    Assets: $116.3 Billion
    Equity: $76.6 Billion
    Employees: 60,400

Actually LINUX driven, which has more in common with Android than with apple. Android is a mobile device distribution of Linux.

    http://searchenterpriselinux.techta...-sends-NASA-rovers-to-Mars-among-other-things

    1) That isn't even close to over yet,
    2) It was determined by a JURY, not a judge -- juries are regular consumers, fully controlled by the media, not by what is right or wrong.
    3) Not sure what your point is. The [still] alleged patent infringement (not copyright, patent) was based on apple holding patents on things like the RECTANGLE, which have nothing to do with which platform is best.

    FYI:
    Apple market share 16.9%.
    Android market share 68.1%.
Samsung market share by itself is greater than Apple.

Just for fun, this is what excitement you have to look forward to; GOOGLE SUING APPLE. Finally. Apple has been going around suing everybody who walks over things that they really don't have any reasonable claim to (i.e., the "rectangle"), now finally, we can look forward to them being squashed like the vermin they are.

Here comes another apple vs android debate. Droids are good but the OS is flawed, too many different versions and a new damn droid phone comes out every week. Anyone with half a brain can upload pics on here with an iPhone/ pad.

Not nearly as flawed as apple, and can you be specific?

So your primary complaint is that Android grows, improves, advances, rather than stagnates? That doesn't seem like a valid complaint.

Well, by reading this thread, it seems to require 3rd party software/services in order to accomplish this very very simple task. One would think that something this simple would be supported by the operating system itself.

You'd be wrong about needing anything that isn't native to the iPad to post photos.
And this isn't a fan boy pissing contest-Both OS/all the companies have their issues...Use what you like, but FFS-Help the OP with his problem or move along.

3rd party software is still native, otherwise it wouldn't work.
I.e., software written for Android is not native to Apple.

I would accept that, but it is contrary to what has already been mentioned by this thread. Perhaps you could assist the OP by explaining how this function could be accomplished without the use of 3rd party software?

The only point I've been trying to make is that apple is designed exclusively to do precisely what "they" want you to do, which typically involves spending money, and nothing that they want you not to do.

Apples OS is very stable, can you be more specific or are you just an android fan boy? I've owned 5 droid phones by various manufacturers, each with their own problems. From batteries to dead pixels, parts coming loose, OS crashing randomly, getting a virus ? Yes.

No, you are thinking too hard, you buy a phone and a better one comes out next week is my complaint.

IIRC, I used photobucket on my droid phones as well.

Thank you & sorry for my interruptions. OP, I use photobucket on my iPhone / iPad to upload my pics, here are some good instructions.

Make a photobucket account, upload pics on your albums, when you select a picture on your phone / pad you get an image like this :

There are several icons on the bottom, click the bottom right one that looks like an 'i' and you'll get this image:

If you click the bottom one that says IMG it automatically copies the URL, just put that in your post and you are good to go, hope this helps.

That still isn't apple. Apple doesn't make their own hardware at all. They outsource everything. What those articles are saying isn't that some part of the rover came from apple, but that it came from the same place that apple got it.

An interesting fact, the CPU in apple phones are made by their best friends in the whole world... SAMSUNG. Hope that blows your mind

They call the CPU the Ax <-- x is an incremental version number, current version is 5, so they call it the A5. Its an ARM CORTEX A9 DUAL with NEON SIMD and dual powervr-SGX graphics processors (Imagination Technologies Group) manufactured by Samsung.

Using the Apple browser installed when I bought my iPad w/ the Apple messanger program that is part of iOS5- I can post photos to TW.
You can play all the word games you want-But that is Apple products doing what the OP wants them to do...so your biased opinion has led you to make an incorrect statement...and even ignoring that-It is of ZERO help to the OP.

OP-Tapatalk is an option. As is the photobucket app method.

You can also TW Live. If you click "Tacoma Photos" at the top of the normal site, you'll see a link to "Your TW Live Address." ( that'll help whoever forgot their address too...). Take that address and then message your photos to it. You can use the normal site to copy links as you see fit from there.

PM me if you have any questions...
