I'm putting some 35" tires on the truck and am wondering if anybody here would be interested in my old 265/75/16 duratrac's. They have about 40k miles on them and are about 1/8" from the wear bar on the tire so they have just a little life left in them. I figured if somebody wanted them for off-roading I'd check here before I have the tire shop dispose of them for me on Friday. One tire was plugged just a couple of weeks ago due to a pesky nail but has been fine ever since.

Figured about $100 for all four would be fair and help me put a dent in the bill for the new 35's ;)

It should fit a standard bed 2nd gen. The shell has a large lip on it that sits inside the bedrails on mine so would accommodate a slightly narrower bed.

    are you selling it?

can you get some measurements on the width, length and height from the rails?

i will only  i don't need it..

was going to go with the pro comp rock crawler wheels, until i just saw the max load is only 2000lbs! wtf is that shit?! looks like most their wheels are in the 2000lb range...seems weak...most our tires have load ranges >3000lbs...should still be fine, so probably going with them..4.25" backspacing should widen the stance slightly too

but looking at 285/75/16 MTRs...get some more sidewall and higher load ratings

edit: may lean toward mickey thompson classic locks...3100lbs max loads

Exterior dimensions 76" long x roughly 61" wide.

Height is 19.5" to the main portion of the cap, close to the cab height on my 1st gen.

The cap has wide rails so interior mounting could be:

    54" wide and 72" long

    I found a thread with a 2nd gen and a wildernest.

76x61 would put it just inside of the outside of the rails on the 2nd gens and height would be about perfect with the cab height...

any pics of it closed? close up of the patched area?

edit: is it the same model as the guy in the 2nd gen thread you posted?
