I am getting married at the end of October and I am having issues figuring out what to get my Groomsmen. So I want to hear your ideas or what you got your Groomsmen bellow are a few stipulations and information I have to help give ideas.

    1. Ideally I want to get them all something they can use in the future and will not just put it away or throw it away.

    2. They all are extremely different and range in age, some into cars, others into golf, some old enough to drink others not old enough to smoke.

My first idea was a flask but due to my fiances beliefs on drinking and since we will not be having alcohol at the wedding I did not want to disrespect her and give my groomsmen the idea to sneak in alcohol. Right now I am debating some personalized golf gear, but my brother does not play golf. I really want everyone to get the same thing. But if it comes down to it I am ok doing different gifts.

    Any ideas help guys!!!:D

Well for my 1st marriage :D I got them all pocket watches with something engraved on the inside to each one. Nothing crazy expensive but it was personal and they liked it. A buddy of mine gave us all really nice pocket knives. When my sister got married my brother in law got everyone something different. I was younger, I think around 12 or 13yo, and he got me a swiss army knife, with my initials engraved on it. Thats was pretty nice.

Fro a smoker, a engraved Zippo is alwasy nice. Look online for an "armor case" Zippo. A smoker will love that!

    Congrats on getting married!

You lost me at no alcohol at the reception.

My friend took us all to a Phillies game. Best groomsman gift I had ever received.

    Too many to list now.
Pocket knives I think are a good standard. I've got a few.

Most of my groomsmen have all been groomsmen multiple times and had the standard barware, flask, zippo whatever. Most were outdoorsy types/hunters. So I got them a 4" folding knife. They all thought it was really sweet.

Bestop, Child Seats, petrified french fry, dog hair, empty Mtn Dew cans cracked windshield, scratches.
I've gotten multi-tools (they ranged in quality, better ones for groomsmen, cheaper ones for ushers)and flasks. The flask was my favorite, not that I ever use it, but because each flask had a phrase from a memory or joke that the groom had with the groomsman.

I got my groomsman each a bucket with one of those tool pouches that fit on the bucket and filled it up with various basic tools such as screw drivers, allen wrenches, pliers, wire cutters, and other little cheap stuff like Duct tape, electrical tape, and tire wire. That was 2 years ago and they still thank me for them now. Got all the stuff at Home Depot and spent about $40 a piece on them. But it was black friday so I got it on sale.

Never knew groomsmen got gifts...ah what do I know about weddings anyways come to think of it. Gift cards and cash are my favorite gifts, but yea getting them something that they will remember you by would be pretty cool. Knifes seem like a popular one so far..

Any links to the knives where you can buy them and get them engraved all at the same time? That would be a great idea and all the guys would love them. I got 5 guys and don't want to spend a fortune but for a good knife I do not mind dishing out a few extra dollars.

    nice idea with the wallet.

i have been a groomsman several times..i think i got a pocket knife half the time. i am a knife freak, and the mediocre blades given at weddings get tossed into a box. besides, i am asian..and giving a blade is considered bad juju.

    i eloped..no wedding.

if i were to do it again..i would take them all out for a super nice prime rib dinner..
