I'm getting there with her. All about patience with training her! Lol but she likes pounce on cats around the house and they stick her right in the nose.. She never learns!!

Sad day today, I along with several other people bid farewell to my old dog Jack who was 17 years old.
    tn-4_cfd2067ca84c8836e446bac0031dff2c828e5b81.jpg
He was a very loyal dog and stood by my side all through childhood and into my adulthood. He lived a rough and tumble life and had been hit by a car 4 times in his life and survived up until the very last. Either way, he lived a happy-go-lucky life and always kept his spirits up and looked positive at things. And according to everyone back home, Jack had a great day yesterday out sun-bathing in the front yard and was walking around on his own despite a broken pelvis. He passed away peacefully in his sleep around 3 this morning, I was woken up at 3:45 and suddenly was wide awake until I got that message from my father telling me the news. It hit me like a train full of bricks, I don't know a life without him to be honest, he was the subject of many of my earliest memories as a young child and we used to spend hours playing outside on nice days. I am deeply saddened, but also happy to know my old boy is living the good life under the Rainbow Bridge right now and will always be watching over me.

Thanks a bunch everyone. I am heading home friday for labor day weekend, figure on spending a hour or two sitting with him at the grave and saying my farewells. And then go cuddle with my other dogs, they are better therapists than anyone else I know! :)

My black lab and siberian husky mix. Her summer coat started blowing a few months ago, and I took her into Petsmart and got the "Furminator" package and so far it has been great! She sheds the occasional hair or two but nothing like before.
