Thanks. I've been putting a coat of grease on the factory pads. That'll last me 6 months or my first encounter with mud. Whichever happens first

 

Replaced the passenger CV shaft cause one of the boots was starting to tear. Replaced it with a Cardone CV shaft from Amazon for $68. Took a couple hours for the first time.

 

Get in your truck.
FASTEN YOUR SEATBELT
Get going up a moderate hill with little traffic (this could fuck with people behind you)
Get rolling and mash the throttle.
Apply the brake... just enough to bring up the brake light.

If your engine shuts down to idle, you've had the "floormat recall" reflash and the pedal was trimmed at the same time.

 

ok. will try it and see. and don’t have to tell me to buckle up! i all ways do on the road! now if i’m going to our back filed i don’t but, i’m only going 10mph and i’m not going to crash. but on road all ways buckled up! oh and i don’t text and drive either. or like talking. since i don’t have Blue tooth yet.

I just didn't want to hear that you went through the windshield when the engine shut down (also why I recommend the test going uphill... you can get above 50% throttle without excessive acceleration)

 

Installed USB port in my center console, and also re-routed my aux audio port there as well. Now I just need a blank for the old audio port was. Anyone know where to get one?

 

Removed the badging on the tailgate (only badges on outside), removed the safety stickers from bed and door jams, and dealer sticker. Painted the Toyota grill emblem and it matches the grill very well.
