2005 tacoma air bag light on DTC's codes HELP!!!
Hello All, I'm hopping someone can help me with this codes.

So I read the DLC3 wiring it and this are the DTC codes I got:

    35
    37
    51
    53
    73

I google those codes and I got that they are:

B1653/35: Seat position Airbag Sensor Circuit Malfuntion
B1655/37: Driver side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfuntion
B1800/51: Short in Driver Side Squib circuit
B1810/53: Short in Driver Side Squib 2nd Step Circuit
B1900/73: Short in Driver Side Front Pretensioner Squib Circuit

    Is this correct??

Can some one explain me what all that mean, and hopefully how can I fix it?

    Thanks for all

IIRC there is a TSB for that issue. Take it to the dealer and they should fix it free.

The TSB for the clock-spring would not cause the other codes related to
B1653/35: Seat position Airbag Sensor Circuit Malfuntion
B1655/37: Driver side Seat Belt Buckle Switch Circuit Malfuntion

However there are 2 other recalls for airbags on that year model truck. Have the recall done for the clock spring, and see if your VIN matches the other recalls. Then see if they can give you an indication of what may be going on.

Says his location is Costa Rica which means its not a Tacoma and the recall would not apply

OP, did you remove the front seats and/or seat belts?

no matter what just take it to the dealer. if its not a recall issue, screw it, if it is a recall issue, you just got fixed free.

i noticed three codes for the clockspring so i would just start there. . . for free. its recalled so no worries there.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Double check to make sure all of your connections are tight.

I was assuming he had a HiLux not a Tacoma since that's what's sold down there

Like mentioned already go back and double check all connections and make sure there's no moisture in the connections. If everything check ok I would trying starting the car several times so the airbag ecu cycles and determines if the problem is still present
