Did you Derp that thing? Looks really good.

Any recommendations on Plasti-Derping it? I did the front emblem and ws happy with how it came out. the bumper - that's a whole other beast.

Also did you do it on the truck or off?

    Thx

Oh man, I hated stripping wallpaper. Personally if I had it to do again, I would just tear down the walls and re-rock. Or, put 1/4" rock over everything. What a PITA it was for my 5' x 7' bathroom in my condo.

On the floor finishing, let me know if you need a recommendation. The guy I used (Manix Wood Floors) kicked ass and was the best price I could find. He's right here in Cranford but he said he goes all over. I was going to have him do my parent's house in Wall so I'm sure he'll go to you'll

haha!!!! I knew right away who you meant. Don't worry, after he ties the knot, his wife is going to be saying the same thing! They all say they won't, but they do.

sometime in september. it is an estate sale so the oldest daughter just finally got the paperwork from the county to become the executor of the will. after she signs everything and gets it notorized and sends it back, then she'll be able to sign the contract.

Yea I'm not looking forward to it. EvilMonkey posted some info in the home improvement thread. his house was FULL of wallpaper. I figure i'll try what he did and if it doesnt work, rip out the sheet rock and wire more outlets, wire the room for surround sound, run all the tv/av cables through the wall to a centralized location.... but I'd love to avoid doing all that :D .

yea I'm down to help. I live in Ocean Township. I have a double cab with black leather seats, arm rests, center console cover, and heat seats in the 4 main seats.
I have a hog ring plyer so if you get one too and a bunch of hog rings we can swap them out in no time. Its really not bad.

Where are you ordering from and what brand of leather?
Have you read HomerTaco's leather seat reupholstering write up?

wow you went totally pimp! 4 heated seats :)
Thank you Josh, i appreciate your help, rest assured i'll be taking you up on it! i got quoted $600 in labor to have the kits installed at a place in point pleasant. ouch.

i got the Katzkin kit from John.

i was going to take on a seat kit for my other car, so i do have good hog ring pliers and about 6 million hog rings but have never used them before. I think if i have a set of eyes here to guide me through even part of one seat i'll be set to complete the rest. i do turn wrenches but never done seats... i did read homers write up and it looks like a lot of details!

im like 1.5 miles east of exit 91.

$600 is crazy but I bet there are places that charge way more than that.
John is a great guy. I unfortunately have the cst leather kit and i think John has since stopped using them due to fitment errors. I wish I had gone katzkin.

The leather and heated seats is probably my favorite mod so far, and not even my most expensive :pout:

    Back from mt yet?

That's a prized possession.. It's priceless, not worthless...
