    Hey guys,

I put some LR UCA's on my car about a week ago, my 5100s are at 2.5' in front. I took it to the alignment shop, I believe the UCA's are set at the neutral 0 setting, and they got all the alignment in spec...

Fast forward to when I get new goodyear duratracs in a bigger size than my nittos, and when I went on the highway it was wandering! I thought the UCA's would've fixed this already...

Why is it wandering? Is it because I put new tires on after alignment? Maybe the bolt wasn't torqued to the right pressure?

If you run stock caster specs with a lift, it will wander.

How bad is it wandering and at what speeds? My experience is normally at highway speeds. I did the 5100's with the front at 2.5" (rear 2" AAL) and my caster is at 1.7 degrees roughly. I have stock UCA's and I would not say that my trucks wanders. I do have to make what seems to be a little more corrections than I normally would at highway speeds. It's not bad but I went ahead and got the LR UCA's on the group buy just in case I need them. Here is my alignment for reference.

    I believe both.

Is it pulling to the right?? Something else to keep in mind is what lane you are driving in. When i test alignments on new mexico roads, i stay in the furthest lane to the left since it is the most straight and less effected by the drain direction.

My Camber was at 0.5 on each side, caster at 1.9 on each side, toe was 0 on each side. Isn't that where it should be?

I just installed LR UCAs also and got an alignment and I don't feel 100% on the highway. I wish I knew how to read this gluupity glop and tell the technician "hey, my discombobulator needs to be at .02 centroids"

Here is my alignment w LR UCAs, 5100s at .85, and Eibach Coils

Your caster could be matched better , and camber could come down closer to 0

Thank you OZ-T. I am actually going to walk into the alignment shop and tell the technician what you exactly said.

Some shops like to have the driver's side adjusted to account for road crown

There may be an issue of seized cams too , that is a common problem with Tacomas , my truck had both front cams seized , if that is the case , the tech has to play off caster against camber .

They may not be aware that camber can be adjusted independently at the top of the LR UCA .

In my case , we got the caster where we wanted it with the 2 functioning lower cams , and fine tuned my camber at the top nut of the LR UCA

    FWIW , my numbers are 3.0 Caster , 0 Camber , 0 Toe
