$5000 for parts and kibbe to do that work sounds about right... His rates are a little on the higher side than other shops

Your gonna pay a little higher considering a bedcage ain't much money in his pocket and it's taking him away from other projects that are gonna bank him way more monies. I mean c'mon... His front kits are like 10K

Matt is spot on - so long as he can stay busy fab work is based on what his time is worth not what the work is worth.

I agree, I thought $5000 to just hand someone the keys and pick it up doesn't sound bad. They have to order all the parts and do all the work all you have to do is sign the check and enjoy the finished product.

I'm still waiting for a LOT of parts to come in to get my truck back up in running again. In the meantime, a little something I've been working on for the last couple weeks. I utilized part of my existing rear bumper and bedcage and tied everything together with a couple new crossmembers. Everything is .120 wall DOM.

The observant ones out there will notice some shiny...errrrr "matte," new wheels. Vin at SCS Performance really came though. I needed two new wheels for the spares, and the new wheels SCS came out with fit the bill much better than my old wheels. The new wheels are LEGIT. They have 1/2" more backspacing than my old wheels which brought them in a little tighter. I'm no longer scrubbing my the glass on the inside of my front fenders when I back up. They are both Toyota hub and lug centric. Even with my shit tires, they took very little weights to balance out. I got almost 7 full turns on regular acorn lug nuts on the front studs, and 11 full turns on the rear. Fit and finish is phenomenal. And I don't know who Vin paid off at the UPS store, but the brown truck delivered them to my door THE DAY AFTER I ordered them.
HUGE props to Vin and SCS Performance

The jack is only a prop. I've got a new HF jack coming in the mail that will sit where the red jack is. I'm also waiting on some anchors to weld to the cross member for the tire straps. But for now, the axle straps work good. I still got a lot more to do on the truck to get it running on it's own four wheels again, but off to a good start. More pictures and details in my build.

    Ok thanks.
I'm going back to stock spindles, I can't get my truck aligned properly and my tires are wearing out unevenly. Atleast I won't have to buy new springs now:eek:

alignment issues and scrub radius/handling is kinda shitty with the spindles and LT combined on a DD truck...

i'd be stink bug a little bit, but nothing new coils can't fix... since i have leafs out of the 50T packs the rear end isn't crazy high

Lol i have a few chunks missing from stuffing it and turning in the past.
Cool, it was a stupid question anyways. I just remembered the spindles aren't on the truck yet so ill get them gusseted and then install them in time for the race on the 8th.

Any advatanges/disadvantages between TC and All pro gussets? Besides the fact that i might get two driver side gussets if i go with all pro
