2012 NCAA Football Thread

They are calling for upset tomorrow for SC... What do you all think? (notice I said you all, not ya'll?)

 

They may have a good qb, but that's about it...their RB is average at best, have a fair D line but nothing in the defensive backfield...as much as I hate to say it, I see SC by 14+...

 

everyone keeps sucking Vandy's dick and I dont know why. they are still vandy. all they have is a coach who talks like steve spurrier but has a losing record as a head coach. I would be suprised if we dont win by 3 touchdowns.

 

Hey man, just going with what all the experts have been talking about on ESPN and other places. Haven't said I believe it, just its talked about.

Anyone else think A&M are going to have a hard year now? They now have 12 straight weeks of football since tomorrows game got moved to their bye week?

 

I thougt they would go 4-8 (0-8) before, now I think La Tech will definitely get them and they'll go 3-9 (0-8).

 

I think they go 6-6 or 7-5. They beat Florida, La Tech, SMU, SC State, Ole Miss, Miss State (could go either way), and Sam Houston State.

 

Florida has a lot of returning starters on defense, it'll be close but i'm sure Florida wins by a field goal. By the time they get to Starkville, they'll be so beat up that it'll only be close for 3 quarters at most. Talent wise they might be better than Ole Piss but I'd put my money on Sumlin throwing that game.

 

Maybe because they were so improved and actually played some teams tough last year. They took us down to the wire and lost by 5, lost to Arky by 3, Florida by 5, and Tennessee by 6. That's the most competitive Vandy has been in a loooooong time, and I expect them to be better this year.

I don't EXPECT them to beat y'all, but I could see it happening.

Run Lindsay Run: Nov. 8, 1980, Georgia 26, Florida 21: Munson implores Lindsay Scott to go the distance with a 93-yard touchdown catch in the final seconds as the Bulldogs earn a comeback win on the way to a national title. "Run, Lindsay!" Munson says, later adding, "Lindsay Scott! Lindsay Scott, Lindsay Scott!" as he crosses the goal line. As he reflects on the touchdown, Munson tells listeners, "I broke my chair. I came right through a chair. A metal steel chair with about a 5-inch cushion. I broke it. The booth came apart. The stadium, well, the stadium fell down. Now they do have to renovate this thing. They'll have to rebuild it now."

How long does it take "Shoelace" on Saturday to realize that his speed is considered average in the SEC? I say he gets ran down from behind by a LB or DE at some point.

I think that they are in for a very rude awakening... I was talking to an A&M fan the other day in the gym and he was spouting some serious A&M kool aid... He thinks they will be in the top 3 of the west...

 

Those B-2s are some weird and wicked looking airplanes...saw one last year here at Pax taking off...definitely something you don't see everyday...

 

I deal with that on a daily basis. I just don't see how a team that goes 6-6 in the Big12 expects to win games on a regular basis in a conference whose focus isn't offense, but defense.

 

In a situation like that the best way to deal with aggie is to kick him in the balls and walk away. No amount of talk reasoning or facts will ever get through. Kinda if like uga fan.
