09 TAIL LIGHT opinions

I love the LED bulbs but I am not feeling the chrome circle in the middle. I got a mag gray sport and after debageing the only chrome left on the truck is the tail lights. I was thinking about changing out to these,


I guess some one would like to buy my stock ones but I don't know if they are a direct replacement as far a putting them on a 05 to 08 taco.

yep, me to I just think they look kinda ricey. Those ones I am looking at are led to just with out the chrome.

 

If they're bright LEDs, I'd probably tint them a little. Alot better option than the 09 stocks!

I need to look in to tinting them I think they make a red film I could use just don't know how that will buff out.

From what i have niteshades is the best for tinting tail lights, and its supposedly pretty easy if you take your time. I was gonna try doing mine yesterday but i could not find any of the paint where i live.

 

I've always thought those were the best looking aftermarket tails. I'd say go for it, take some pics, then I'll decide if I want them for myself!

 

does anyone no where or has a pic of those tails installed on a truck? I can't find one on the net

That's good if they fit all the 2gens I guess I will put them up for sale when I get the new ones. I wish I could find a good photo of them on a truck and lit up. I cant even figure out if they are all LED or just the middle. I think they have yellow led blinkers red led brakes and white led reverse. Don't worry dagone12 I will pm you first when I get the new ones. First come first serve.

 

They shouldn't have yellow blinkers. I looks to me like the blinkers would be red.

 

I really can't tell but I like the stock yellow blinkers I hope the other ones are yellow on top.

 

I like the yellow blinkers too, but they probably won't be yellow. The lens on the outside is all red. The light output will probably be red.
