What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Well, given the fact that I like the idea of the functionality, the fact that they are low profile, and don't require double sided tape on my paint....yeah, i'm a fan.

Although I don't have much experience with them since they've been on my trick for less than 24 hours.

 

I went with EGR and love them...but I'm sure Weathertech is still just as good!

 

Subbd b/c I love this thread some great ideas in here, and hopefully next week will be adding to it once I get my retro headlights done!

 

Finally finished the LED Dash mod. I screwed it up pretty bad the first time and had to order more leds. I have been soldering for a while but mostly guitar parts and larger things. These LEDs were tiny! it took a little learning but I'm glad I did it. I like the white leds way better than the amber ones.







I finished Last night I guess not today, but it was probably after midnight

 

That so you can charge your phone too? Where did you get the mount and what did you use?

 

All new rear.

 

New wheels old tires, I reused the old TPMS on the new wheels.

 

I've had mine in for a few months. It's a snug fit but the right front passenger tint on my window started to unstick at the corner. I had a feeling it would end up doing that eventually. Anyone had similar issue?
I'm curious if sand getting between the visor and window made it worse for the tint.

 

Blew out a tire this morning at 6am on the way to work. Happened on the rough company road tho. Sidewall split. These stock tires suck! Just a little over a month old!

 

It actually went flat as I was backing into my spot! Company's paying for it of course

 

I plasti dipped my tacoma badges and took off the toyota v6 and sr5 off the tailgate.

debadged the tailgate and painted the door badges, also ordered color matched grille today! By next week all the chrome will be gone I can't wait.

Oil changed, rear diff oil changed, power steering flushed and filled. Washed, waxed. And fixed my overhead temp/compass.
Oh, and finally did the pressure in all my tires, including the stupid spare, so now my TPMS light is off

 

added the oem bed mat and spare tire lock then ghetto rigged the tail gate for security.

 

Installed my Weathertech in channel visors,

Like em a lot.
