Need to factor in your cost of new rim's if you go 16". That might sway the total bill a bit. :)

Nitto has 285/75/17's as well but I'm sure they are just as spendy. I picked up the toyos for 500$ with less than 5k on them. They'll be going on a set of fj steelies as my commuter set up to save the swampers.

but if i get 16s then i'll also be selling my current setup, wheels and tires together which will help reduce the bill back down..

some reviews say that they are good in all conditions and list snow...but reviews by people using them don't show they are as good as advertised...they will be coming off my list..would be better if those lugs weren't so wide and they split them up

    yea i think i'm leaning toward 305/70/17 MTR or 285/75/17 KM2...34x12x17 or 34x11.5x17

with the MTRs on the top of the list

not 100% yet...unless i can get a good deal for the full set, i'll just sell the rubber and keep the wheels

plus the 17" allows more options to hit 34"...16" wheels are limited mainly to 33" or 35"...not much in between

I thought TG had them but they make one that mounts to tube bumpers. But they got some cool other stuff under miscellaneous.
