    TRD super charger, URD fuel mods and 2.1 super grip pully, Headers, 2.5" glass pack, Dana 60 front 4 linked, 14bolt rears on chev 63's, 5.38 gears, ARB locker in the front, PSC full hydraulic steering, 18" SAW 2.5" triple rate coils overs, FOA 2.5 air bumps, B&M launch controls, B&M trans cooler, 4 alpine 6X8 type R's amped, Red led rock lights, CBI front and rear bumpers (my design) CBI sliders, 4 riggid dualys front 2 in the rear, custom track bar, ARB snorkle, warn VR8000 winch, Viair 480c twin compressers..
    i use a small pry bar and they pop right out. I fix cars for a living so it's no big to change them. And i have 5 spare shafts 3 of the shafts i run are life time warranty lol that's saved me over $800 so far.

    also i use a handy man to jack the truck up to change shafts so all the gear oil runs to the other side of the diff. no need for topping off the gear oil cuz you don't loose more than three drops of it.

    This is definitely true for the 3.4L too... even with 4.10 gears.

    I would love to brag up my SC more but i had 4.88's befor the blower. i went from good power to burn the fuck outa my tires. on a better note i get almost 19 mpgs pm the freeway now as appossed to the 13 before.

    That's pretty awesome fuel mileage. The TRD S/C would be sweet to have because it's like half the price of the others, but last I heard people couldn't get the ECU reflashed for the S/C after the people chop recall had been done...

    Oh and just put it in 4wd and lock the front and rear = no more spin:D (or hopefully a lot less spin at least. haha)

    In my dads research he found that if you got a certain reflash that you couldn't SC. Lucky, he requested not to get that one so he is supposed to be all good. His goes on next week.

    What year is your dad's? I believe the 10's and up are fine because they come with it from the factory, but it's the recall for the runaway Priuses... I bought my tacoma with that recall already done... They flash your ECU so that if you hit the brake and throttle at the same time the throttle shuts off so the brakes win. IIRC it's the 90L recall.

    We'll see. Last year in moab I remember spinning rim inside tire and the year befor I smoked all 4 33 10.50 KM2's with factory gears and no SC in front of some jeeps on damn near level flat ground. Silly jeeps thought i couldnt keep up.

    You'll have to do my mode put a B&M line lock on each front wheel. AKA poor man locker and then you can lock the front breaks and still put down power.

    I have 33x10.00 KM2's. On pavement with 4.88's they won't even chirp 1 tire, it just rockets off. In 2wd, factory gears and locked I can pretty much spin the rear tires all day long in gravel. In 4wd with 4.88's and locked front and rear in gravel, I just rocketed off, didn't even slip a tire. haha. That torque converter just eats up all the torque under 1800 rpms. haha

    You're dad will have to be careful (that probably isn't a worry though haha) but by declining a recall, toyota can throw that back in your face to get out of honoring the warranty on the vehicle.

    Til your cable gets stuck and you can't stop:rolleyes: haha

    A line lock would be cool just to show off here and there. haha but I would have bald rear tires and good front ones if I did that. haha:burnrubber: That or a broken axles or ring and pinion... haha. These skinny KM2's grab pavement like no other.

    So I have a question for you guys, so I have been hitting up the mountains quite bit recently and since I have a compressor I have been deflating my tires for a smoother ride, because of how long it takes to deflate and re-inflate the tires I have only been dropping them to 25 and re-inflating them to 40. My question though is what do you guys think is a good pavement psi? 40 looks a bit low. 60? I suppose I should do the chalk test but don't feel like going out and buying chalk for one use. haha

    Oh yeah, I know of a cheaper line lock konsta. Just crank the brake adjusters on the rear brakes in all the way. They take forever to work themselves back out. Ask Brant how I know. haha

    it was in moab on sand stone it's sticky but slick at the same time. hence slick rock. and if i power break it my truck will bald the rear tires really fast. in 4 low with the locker in on gravel i can still spin em. then i take off sideways it's a blast. cant wait for ice and my old bald 35's im gonna be doing some cookies from hell.
