    gotta do the chalk test man. Everyone's truck is different since they all weight different and rims and tires vary.

    i run mine at 32 for even wear since im on an 8'' rim with 12.5 wide tires.

    can't take that long to deflate and re inflate.

    Guess I'm buying some chalk. haha. I have mine at 40 psi and they just look a little low. I have an 8" rim with 10" wide tires. haha. How wide is your actual tread pattern? Mine is only about 7".

    It takes about 10 minutes to deflate all 4 tires from 40 psi to 25 psi and then about 15 to 20 minutes to get them back up to 40 psi. I don't have a tank just a compressor.

    Brady I have lots and lots of sidewalk chalk! Just come use some. As for the s/c flash. That was only a hiccup. You can supercharge all truck with any flash on them now. The supercharger flash flashes over the 90L recall flash. But once you flash the supercharger flash onto your ecu there is no comin back. Only way to uninstall the supercharger flash is to buy a new ecu. And I have not heard Toyota say anything about not honoring a warranty issue because you refused the reflash. You just have to sign a waiver so that if you ever come back and say whatever it is the flash was for caused a problem they have proof that you denied it. I signed off on the 90L. So now if my throttle sticks (insert laughing), I can't blame Toyota.

    :eek: 40 seems high to me. I run mine about 32 if I'm not taking a long drive, then I up it to 35.

    With all due respect sir, that would make you the heaviest 1st gen on the planet, by a wide margin. I know the d-cab is heavy but...

    I had a chance to weigh mine on a truck scale right before putting it on the trailer before heading to Moab. It was loaded to the gills with all our stuff and the normal armor, bb skids, bumpers, sliders, winch, yada...

    Mine weighed 4750. Stock is ~3700.

    Guess I'm not buying chalk haha:D and good to know they fixed the reflash thing incase I decide to go S/C. For now i still want snail power! @@@!!! Neither are in the near future though... far too expensive...

    You think 40 is too high huh? Like i said they still appear a little low. I drove down to Moab on 80 and back on 50 or 60. Can't remember which i filled them too.

    sheesh what the hell are you using to deflate? take me like 5 mins if that with the EZdeflater from ARB.

    and really..all part of it. I think its worth the time to do it, but i only do it if i know its gonna be real bad.

    and i think my actual foot print is like 11-10''

    I stick a tire inflator end on there without the hose attached to it to deflate them. They deflate a lot faster than they inflate.

    Because they are designed for that very purpose. And i know lots of wheelers that have them and use them alot.

    i just don't trust them i guess..little dirt in them and the spring wouldn't work 100%

    or maybe im just being a bit of a control freak..

    the ARB one is cheap tho too isn't it?

    Maybe a decade down the road or so if I decide to go SAS and upgrade the rear as well I will get some solid axles that can run on the fly pressure adjustments:D That would be amazing. haha. Just flip a switch and they deflate while you drive then flip the switch again and they re-inflate while you dive.
