They were a bear to pack, The only reason I got one was no packing just from the truck down to the boat. A grunt had turned it in that day for a AR15. Gunners mate said they were hard to come by, USMC sniper grade. Cleaned it good that night and put 100 rounds out her the next day. Was pure love for the next 27 mo.s. She knew how to take the other boys beer $.... Jim[/QUOTE]
Evening all: That's why I didn't carry that sucker around in Maine for too long. Wish I could have got a deer with it, but no luck seeing one.

Thank's 6 like this so much I will keep it like this for the next 3to 6 mo..
Still pull my old 18' footer around for hunting in the winter. The taco is fine with it only thing was if the cross winds were bad. Picked up the 2 anti-sway bars last year and that was the trick for the cross winds. Most times only tow at 70-75. [IMG]

    Evening all: NICE GRILL Jim!
Stupid furnace still isn't right. The guy that also has one stopped by today.
He seems to think it may be sooted up so bad that it can't burn properlly.
Got to take the burner end apart to really get at it right.
    I WILL FIND THE PROBLEM!!!
    I hope

Morning all...love the grill Jim...would love to see Toyota put it into production:D....

Good luck with the furnace Carl...in my old house the furnace was so inefficient that when i went to clean it, I had to disassemble the whole heat box and clean up all the soot and after a new nozzle, igniter and adjust the air for proper ignition & burn it worked well...following year I installed a new unit with air conditioning...was a lot more efficient then the old one...and quieter too...Ken

Glad to hear that your area of the country dodged the weather bullet. New Orleans is not so lucky.

    Evening all:
Ken that's where I'm at. It's ALL apart!
Just figured out that one of the baffles in the combustion chamber is in BACKWARDS, and the whole combustion chamber wasn't seated against the end, where it should be.
Now that I'm doing the homework, these things are actually pretty simple. Maby some of the people that worked on it should have read the instructions first!

Morning all....glad you are getting it figured out Carl...like Sue said, "Instructions:confused:you mean we are supposed to use them?:p" Even a lot of "installers say I've been doing this for 20 years, I don't need instructions.." I know I'm in deep dodo when I hear that line...a fuel oil fired heater really isn't all that complicated, just need to know your way around it. Goolge search has plenty of sites on repair and maintenance if you need some answers Carl. Used youtube and found a video on diagnosing the daughters fridge. It was right on the money. Good luck.

    Morning Sue:)
