    Today I got 2 12'' MTX XThunder Subwoofers for 100 bucks... they sound pretty good and are very durable... Im looking at installing everything by tuesday, so I will post pics ASAP!

    Just got an amp. Planet Audio 1000W amp.

    I hate to be the one to break it to ya, but nobody has managed to fit a 12'' in that location...12'' just are really too big for this vehicle. Let us know how it goes!

    Alright.. here's the problem...

    It won't fit.. it needs 1/2 clearance...

    But IM thinking... WOuld a single 12'' sub box fit in the area where the glove compartment box is? If the passanger seat is put all the way back, would it work?

    oil change...
    just fold down the rear seats on put the box on top, if you need more room for whatever just take the subs out for a little bit..

    What I was thinking is making a box myself...but make the area where the speaker sets a bit wider so that I can screw it on. But then cut the back of the seat so that I can close it.

    Yikes a 12" sub under the glovebox no way that would be worth it with so many better options ! That would be quite awkward.
    That is something I'd have to see, but It seems in theory to be a serious safety hazard. That would be "riding suicide", I'll sit in the back seat.

    I have a single 12 right behind the driver seat, with the amp on the floor.

    I'd say just fold the seat down. I wouldn't cut anything man... Just my opinion.

    My friend has two MTX subs in his S10. Sounds pretty good. :D
