I got sick of taking out my full size tool box to load dirt bikes and i never had that much stuff in it so i bolted in an old ammo can i had.
Its water proof, holds a tow strap, battery cables, fluids and the same amount of tools i usually take on wheeling trips and i can still fit a bike on each side.

i have a tool box,bed cage/tire career, and a winch all stored in the bed of a first gen dbl cab witch gives me about an inch of useable bed space, yet i can still fit 2 full size bikes in there.

I have a tool box, coffin style, but I want to get rid of it and install a Leer truck cap....
Maybe if someone has a truck cap for a 2000 Tacoma that wants to get rid of it for a toolbox....maybe we could work out some kind of deal ;)

I ended up abandoning the tool box idea and getting an ARE camper shell. It was a great decision and I spent considerable time perusing the "show me your shell" thread.

$99 Lowes special. Some say they are crap, but I have had it for 2 years and the lid can easily hold 400# without bending (I use it as a seat at the drag strip).

Sorry, wasn't trying to spam anything, just did not see any good solutions to the j-hook mounting technique on here and found these clamps on the internet. Thought I would post it on the threads that were related to help others out that were searching for a solution like I was. Sure don't want my gluteus maximus banned, so thanks for the warning. I will be content just reading others ideas and keep mine to myself. Thanks again.

I had that same one for a while and no complaints here! I only changed it up cause I didn't want anything sitting on the rails, so switched to a UWS chest this way I could mount a scepter can on the side of it.
