Doug, I had my side view mirror down where I could see the wheel attitude, and all I can say is WOAH, the wheel moves around and the body hardly does, very plush. I cant wait for a dez run, I think we shall run the dez this weekend, see if I can get a few folks to go with, evening to night run, hopefully no flash flooding going on.

I want to see a vid of someone jumping on a set of OMD springs. How stiff are the ones Doug builds up? They have to flex a little right?...they are springs. I remember bouncing on my flat oems and could not believe that they were holding the weight of the truck.

thats not what Deaver told us before I bought them, because of the number of leafs, they said it is a DIRECT replacement for the Tacoma's leafs with "Load" capability, simple fact is a flat with negative arc at rest with 100lbs in the bed after 4 months is BS, and I usually only carry 200-300 LBS in the bed, if we are out on long expedition I have more and trailer, but it never exceeds 1000lBS, Deaver, on the phone told me that it is not an issue as long as I am under 1500LBS, bed and towing.

they arent stiff at all, not compared to my J66's, way more movement and plush, I just through 600 LBS in the bed from my weights and 4 90LBS bags of cement, I drove around the block and was still 1/2 inch off the bump, holy shit BATMAN..OMD rocks!

damn that is one video we did not make.

when we did my springs it was just one add a leaf added to the stock springs and it was a huge difference. still flexes plenty and didnt bottom out under my weight (around 230)

jumped on the ones we put in erics and it was the same thing. still flexes nice and doesnt bottom out under my weight.

your in SD right? hit one of us up or go see the man himself

With my current rear setup being a softer valve I can jump like crazy in the back with a spare and hi lift and it dips about 3-4 inches of travel out of my 8 avail.

The j59 is a soft pack but it always bounces back with no issue

LUL, rebuild on a 700 dollar leaf and 4 months old, no they're refunding my money, James at the truck shop knows and was a little concerned about the odd negative arc on the back ends of the leafs.

Not trying to mean, sorry, just Deaver is not on my nice list, after all the issue with the shackles, and flatness and they did nothing nor offered nothing, im done. Plus they admitted to James they knew about the shackles hitting the frame and gas tank strap and said, and I quote: Most of our customers that install the J66's, don't off-road.

    What?!?
