There is little that cannot be emergency repaired with zip ties, duct tape, and ratchet straps.
I've spent a lot of money on lost and broken parts. No sense in you repeating the mistakes.

I was working in a produce warehouse in the cooler and I was stacking cases of ....produce. Well not all boxes are the same size or all fit together nicely. So when I was organizing them, someone came in and took a bunch of cases of different stuff. One case from this stack, one from here, one from there... So when I went into the cooler again, I sort of felt anxious and I went and totally restacked everything again. I did that three times in a row. My boss told me that he notices me doing that all of the time and it's cutting into my production. That I need to stop and stop it now or else he will find somebody more productive. :(

That's from all the way down my driveway and they aren't even pointed directly at the camera, they're pointed at two spots, driver's side about 4 feet high and about five feet high at a point about 12 15 feet behind the truck, it's the 'kill' zone

I don't know all the secrets but I know enough to stock a couple rolls of duct tape, about 500 zip ties and five or so ratchet straps in my toolbox. Appreciate the advice, went out a few minutes ago and zip tied them. Out of curiosity, is there another use for the hole in the pin? What's it actually there for? Once again I appreciate the advice and help.

Hahahaha. My OCD isn't that bad. That kind of stuff bothers me but I'm more anal about my work so I balance it. I straighten stuff out when I have time but I do my job and get my work done first. I used to have to work nights and close down the deli so my job was cleaning everything. That was fun...

    They can seize up.
You can stick a screwdriver in it and break it loose.

Why not just safety wire it?

Zip ties come off easy when you need to use them with anything remotely sharp. Safety wire would require dikes.

Safety wire comes off the same as tie wrap. You could use a screw driver for example. Plus, if you needed something sharp, dikes qualify for cutting tie wraps too :D

Hey guys and gals! Any of you subscribe to Petersens 4 Wheel and offroad magazine? I do, anyway thought ya might be intrested in the November issue of the Ultimate Adventure. One of the rigs in there is an '05 Tacoma Double cab on 40's:woot:SAS Dana 60 front, with a Corporate 14 bolt rear. 5.38 gears, dual cases, air lockers blah, blah, blah.

Check it out, or go get the mag ;)

Yes! My dad is visiting me soon so things are busy, and I want new tires first, hopefully do that mid-late September... as soon as the money tree looks a little less pathetic I'm gonna get the satoshi, BAMF light bar, and the lights and I'd love to have a group event in which I bring homemade snacks, beer, and my complete lack of knowledge.

Definitely not vegan! I made these banh mi sorta sliders in lettuce wraps for dinner and a bacon wrapped pork tenderloin for lunches. We're just doing a ton of pickled veggies bc otherwise they'll go bad. He's making kimchi now, it's pretty fragrant... fermented shrimp?
