    maybe. but i heard something on history channel. lol. that it does have a blue look to it or something. but the expression "once in a blue moon” but it only happens like every 50 or 100+ years, and most people are likely to never see it.

    " Blue moon " is the appearance of the third full moon in a season with four full moons. It is never really blue. The term has also been used to refer to the second full moon in a month
