Picking one up after the new year. Need a family vehicle with back seats. (how I justified it ti the wife)

All the KORE guys have Deavers on theirs and I told them last race that I had a guy who makes springs that are way better than those.

I will let you know when.

I know. I had Deavers on my Cummins. When I towed, My truck would rest on the bump stops.

The leaf pack I have on my Taco has proven itself 100 times over already. Which is why I am recommending all these different trucks to get your springs.

Ya i pretty much have to agree with this statement 100%, just got back from Superstition/Oco run, 108F Degrees out there, spring performed magically, I have my Articulation back and then some, Ride is plush over hard terrain, right pedal test was amazing, videos uploading.

As far as a trip down there tomorrow for shoot and wheeling, its going to be even hotter tomorrow, a ton of the roads are gone and alot of mud and water remains.

I do too Leo, man it was so hot getting out of the truck hurt, my last video and picture shoot was 108, most of the dirt roads were gone from flash flooding, I slid down a washout and truck fell 5 feet on the front skid, too fast and could not stop, trucks ok, but man my ass puckered tight.

I was out there today. Ran into a bit of mud in the San Felipe wash I think it was? I was mainly just showing my buddy from work the area and a little of what Tacos are capable of. Snapped a couple of photos on the hill next to Devil's Slide, but that was it.

This one is just for Doug, first of many, just showing off what I gained over the Deavers, a bit more then stock as I remember it. Truck handled so much better, hardly had to go into 4x4 climbing stuff, never once did any of the rear wheel hang in the air, whereas my last trip I had a wheel hanging everywhere.

I spoke with a family member that patrols down there and hungout for a few, he said last night was in the high 90's until he's shift started @ 7AM and it was still 88. Think im going to sit this one out. I dropped down in the dez around 10AM and it was 96 already. I would love to get some pictures of the bluemoon, but its just to damn hot.

HA! Was there ever any doubt ??.....:D

Thank you for the preliminary review & the kind words Erik , like I told you yesterday if you go out & give'm a romp & you don't like them or somethings not right , I'll stay on them until they are & tho' it sounds corny, it's more important to me that YOU as the customer is happy with the end result meeting or exceeding expectations than $$ monetary gain for me....;)

Too bad that the well known "Big guys" Have forgotten their roots & lost their way....

OMD Will always be a small , personal "hands on." endevour for me , never "mass" produced, because what I do cannot be done this way, each spring is different, each spring is custom built the only thing thats the same is performance. I'm not just cranking these out to the public, I build these for YOU, you're not just customers, you're my friends....

I'll never be a threat to the big spring manufacturers, nor would I want to be, it is funny though that a lot of peeps just can't bring themselves to putting those "dirty junkyard parts" on their beloved tacomas & thats ok..

As long as Deaver & a few others keep doing things the way they have been , I'll stay busy....

    Thanks again buddy.....

oh no worries Doug, big thanks your way, and a thanks to Leo in helping.

The difference in performance over terrain I have frequented many times with the Deavers was amazing, I could not stop saying "holy sheeeit" where I would be up in the air almost hitting my head on the cab with the deavers and slow speeds, I was double the speed and damn near floating over the same bumps with the OMD'd stockers.
The kicker was lastnight and loading the bed up with as much weight as I could find and driving a few miles, I had more weight in the bed then I have ever had and was still in positive arch and not on the bumps.
