I've been getting 21-22 mpg in the city with a 2012 4.0L. Very happy.

Couldn't agree more. We have the technology we just have to uncouple the Gas companies from the Auto manufacturers. Maybe give the taco direct injection, a 6th gear and make it less of a brick

    I agree with this post.

and the bold is due to political correctness...simple as that!

there is a large contingency in this country that believes we can save the planet by driving hybrid/electric cars. but the dumbasses don't ever think of where that electricity comes from.

and pushing is correct...can you say Volt. What a disaster at the tax payers expense.

What do you guys have against a prius? We took my buddies loaner Prius out fishing in the Gros Venture range in Wy, about 40 miles of shitty dirt road, and it did just fine.

It was a 2012, and that thing was like a spaceship in the way it drove, sounded, and got well over 50mpg. Crazy part was when you start the damn things they don't make any noise, like a big spaceage golfcart.

Not to bad of a little commuter car IMO.

It does give the feeling of being at the helm of a class II shuttlecraft, I have to agree with that.

If you are finding ethanol-free gasoline, it has more power per gallon than the alcohol mixes. Alcohol has less energy per gallon, but allows for less NOx pollution. It also attracts water, which is what you would want it to do in winter conditions to avoid frozen water in the lines, but you don't want it to do it in warm weather.

I have owned 2 Prius vehicles, (still own the second). I also own a Tacoma.
So, what do you have against me, seeing that you have never met me?
I also have a Miata and a Harley. You got preformed opinions on folks who own those as well?

Wonder if they make 5100's for the Prius?:D

I've got preformed opinions about Harley riders, preformed opinions about miata drivers, and preformed opinions about Prius drivers. All 3 together just made my brain meltdown and now im on the highway to the danger zone:eek:

I usually get around 18 mpg around town. It gets around 21 on the highway. I am happy with that. I had a Nissan Titan before it that got around 14mpg and 17mpg on the highway. I did not buy it for gas mileage but I am please with it.

    It was tongue-in chreek...guess I should have used: :p instead of :D

    I have nothing against you.

I think a Miata is a very cool car. And have owned several HD's myself...so of course I'm a fan.
