    I just bought a 2006 tacoma. It does not have the factory towing package.
    It does have an aftermarket hitch and 7 blade electrical hookup.The 7 blade hookup did not work.I replaced the converter and it still does not work.Both of these converters have a wire that goes to the battery. I would like to know if anyone can send me a diagram showing how to properly hook up this converter.When I checked the output on the 7 blades, the left turn/stop light has 12.5volts all the time, without the turn signal on or the brake on.

    LEER Shell with dome lights operated with 3 way switches, aux backup lights with relay and 3 position switch, modified wiring to compass/temp display and clock to include switch that disables dimming function (poor man's DRL solution), Scan Gauge 2
    here's a link to some wiring diagrams. Between that and the convertor's instruction sheet, you should be able to figure it out.

    5100's and 883 OME Coils TRD Exhaust Deaver 1.5" AAL Rear Differential Breather Extension, 4WD Light, Tailgate Pipe clamp, Fog lights on while High Beams on, Carrier Bearing flip
    I'd ditch it and get a new plug'n play model to avoid chasing gremlins wasting time.
