    Check the torque of the bolts , should be at 100 ftlbs

    Before you touch them , mark the alignment cam locations

    Check for signs of movement at the cam bolt heads or flattening of the cam tabs

    I will. But I knew they were seized beforehand, just didn't know it would cause that noise. I was just mainly going to track down the noise itself. Maybe after the winter I will take the lowers off and press out the bushings. I saw the alignment shop torque em after they were done..

    Well if the bolts are seized to the sleeves in the bushing , the movement of the LCA's can mangle your cam tabs

    They had to torch em to get my alignment in. Damn Toyota and their lack of grease. I will go out in a bit and look at the tabs.

    Oz, found which one is seized. I have one that has pushed the alignment tab over (not flat though). It is tight, so I don't know how it got that far out of place without flattening the tab. I guess I can drive around a bit with it like that... Just need to watch my tires I guess.

    Thing is , when the bolt is seized in the sleeve , the bolt twists / moves with the LCA , this is the sound you hear

    I knew that, just trying to figure out how the alignment cam came outside of the tab without flattening it instead. Eh, I can't really grease it at the moment so I put a bit of the fluid film in/around it. Maybe it'll help, but doubtful.

    Just glad I only have one bushing that is seized. One out of 4 isn't bad.

    Good luck on the removal if you have to. I had to cut mine off do to being fused with the LCA. While I was at replacing the tabs for an alignment I went ahead and just replaced the whole LCA.:D

    I wish I could just find a way to crack the LCA's and tell toyota to replace them. I am still under warranty for 2 months. Too bad the bushings aren't considered a warranty item.
