Great opening weekend so far. Looks like the MAC could be the best conference in the country.

Happy with Longhorn victory. Just like everyone else they could use some improvement. I think we are looking at
    10 - 2 maybe 9 - 3 for the season.

I was drunk before the game started. Too bad it's Sunday. Fuck a bunch of blue laws.

OK, obviously I'm a Bammer... and don't get me wrong, I love that Denard basically threw a pass to Milliner, but can somebody who knows football better than me explain how this isn't pass interference? Milliner tossed the wolverine out of bounds like a rag doll. Was it within 5 yards of the line of scrimmage? Was it incidental? (no)

They didn't even talk about potential PI on the broadcast.

Again.. Don't get me wrong... Roll Tide!

Yeah I saw that, not to be a hater but I think sometimes that a more successful program gets the calls (or non calls) more than a lesser school. Kinda like in baseball when a pitcher is well known for being consistent at hitting a mark he will get the call even if it's not a strike and then let another guy hit the same mark and it's a ball.

I know the refs can't see it all but I have these thoughts at times.

He looked sharp. But I will hold judgement on him until he plays an actual defense

Hard to tell by the pic but it's a 1/2 gal bottle. It should have lasted through today.

Its not like i don't agree with that. But that's the opponent we had to start with. And with that in mind he couldn't have looked much better.

    Poise brother..... poise.

Agreed. I was surprised that Bennett did not look sharp at all. Nothing like last year. No wonder he lost the spot.

On a side note, those ESPN announcers were fucking annoying as all hell. Yes Bennett lost the starting spot. We get it. We got it the first time. And learn to pronounce the name correctly

Lots of good pictures from last night, but this is my favorite...

Lacy may be striking the pose here, but he really has no shot. That T.J. Yeldon kid, on the other hand, might have started his 2013 campaign last night.

    No hate there.

I won't even argue that the teams on top sometimes get the benefit of the doubt, but it's usually on little things... subtle calls or holding or something. If that was PI, it was the most blatant PI ever (except maybe for the Vandy/USCe game Thursday night). Something about it must not have been illegal.
