how does fox know exactly what kind of tacoma you drive? How much weight you add to off road? What kind of terrain you wheel in most? Your driving style?

Its valved so you can drive your ass to work and back and not think you spent $$$ on a squeeky and harsh riding pile of parts. If you really want performance spend a couple weeks and a local shock guy and get it right. Nothing is "out of the box" with LT

I GET that which is why all I was trying to figure out is who to ask what the current valving is so whoever I talk to about revalving, I can tell them exactly what I have now and what would be the next best thing to try.

Fox should have the valving etched into the rod end or some part of the shock. My
Foxes had them etched on the rod end

Thank you, I will try to find the info. I know on my previous Fox shocks they were on the part that unscrews from the bottom of the shock body, did not think of that until just now.

My kings were sent with the valving the Alex just revalved his to from advice from several shops  If you buy a shock off the shelf this is very true. If you talk to King when your shocks are built they can at least get closer from the start

Well I just spoke with DSMS and the Fox coil-over have been valved very very light compression and fast to medium rebound. This matches exactly what I was thinking, the need for more compression. on the right path

Any one with a camburg kit can you post a pic of how you mounted your limit straps. I'm trying to finish my kit tomorrow and that's all I have to do. 2nd gen Tacoma

Is that a 4" spindle you're talking about ? If so , do you still have to drill out & tweak that bracket for the brakeline ?

No stock spindle. I just haven't cut off the stock bump because its my DD and I don't have bypasses yet. I was just wanting to know if someone left the stock bump bracket on and got their limit straps on. If it isn't possible then it will have to wait till another weekend when I have time to do it.

Well reason I asked is because you asked about the camburg kit, you have the lowers ? I thought they had a tab welded in place for the addition of limit straps, most I've seen have a bracket welded to the frame w/adjustable link

Do any of you guys know anything about the quality of Perry's fab n fiber products? I'm debating getting their front fender in the 4" flare or the fiberwerx in the 4.5" flare.

I've got no answer for ya, but I will say that the whole fiberglass thing with prerunners/LT's is sketchy at best, what i mean is one guy will go to "Joe's" fiberglass inc. & get a kickass job done , he'll recommend it to someone else & theirs turns out like shit (ie; nothing lines up,holes missing, etc)
