tryin to figure out why the ass end of my 06 tacoma prerunner is squeakin so damn bad anybody have any insight

 

have you went mudding recently???

maybe pressure wash the springs real good and spray some dry moly lube in all the openings......should take care of the squeak if its the springs, and at least it'll eliminate what the cause is.

 

nope no mudding at all and i wash under there about once a month and i also sprayed wd40 on the spring but no help

 

wd-40 is kinda a bad idea, just so you know. it actually attracts dust and dirt. i'd try spraying it off real good again, and get a good moly lube for it....spray between each leaf and see what happens.

 

yeah i sprayed it off and im going to apply some graphite or maybe some lithium grease didnt consider moly

 

lithium will do pretty good........i just like moly because it dries good, makes a barrier, and repels dirt and dust.

 

i will prolly try it i have found a leaf spring silencer kit but i will prolly have to go to dealer to order it

 

all that is is probably new plastic like pads to go in the springs....may help out tho. i'd still keep them sprayed down,even if i did get the silencer kit...it would cut down on dirt getting between the springs.

 

can u get moly lube at auto zone

 

they may have a type of it there.....or at a tractor supply or lowes/home depot.

 

My front end squeeks. So I just used my motor cycle chain lube and it works great. I believe it was the stabalizer bar where it goes thru the metal and rubber mounts at the end of the frame.

You can see them in the picture on the far right side.

I know yours is in the back but maybe it will spark an idea of what the problem might be on yours.
