Diff drop question

Ok,I ordered my lift today I went with the toytec 3" spacer lift w/ rear AAL and shocks also added the diff drop option...My question is will it cost alot more for the diff drop install?? I was quoted $225 for install w/o alingment but when I was describing my lift to the shop i neglected to mention the diff drop I added.Also is the diff drop that important

man.......i'd do the lift install for ya for free.....minus the alignment. and the diff drop is 2 bolts up front.

 

I'm sure it's not a hard lift to install but unfortunately I dont have tools,time or patience to do it...By-the-way been to Rock Hill several times playin in softball Tournys...Maybe I'll just swing by 1 day and you could hook up my taco..(Just Kiddin)

 

hey man...as long as its the weekend....i dont mind installing the lift for ya. i wont charge ya a thing.

 

Thats my biggest prob is time especially on weekends I work for Greensboro NC parks and rec depo and we have basbeball and softball tourneys every weekend until nov 1. But it's only mandatory that we work every other weekend but I try to work them all for that O/T Cause "Baby needs new pair of shoes" but daddy needs toppings on his taco But I appreciate the offer.

 

It takes 15 minutes to do the Diff Drop. You un-bolt it, lower the arms, put the spacers in, and re-tighten. I did it while my wife was feeding the horses. Trust me, DO NOT pay someone to do it. Any forum members near you would most likely help. It is way more satisfying to do it on your own. Use the extra $$$ for more MOD's.

 

maybe I'll just make some time and and do it myself..Hopefully once all is installed i can run some 33's but if not I can live with 32's.I'll post some pics when all is finished. Thanks for all the help and advice i've been on a few yota forums and tacomaworld is by far the best!!

 

heard that man. well....if you decide you dont wanna pay to have the lift installed in the future......my offer still stands.
