Adam (Chevy Guy) wants to know what you have (I was assuming 4.0 Toy) and what you want done to it.

Ron (Jeep Guy) says these days with labor and machine work... you are MUCH better off just buying a Jasper Crate motor. They are new, warranted (Parts and Labor if installed by Jasper certified shop) and substantially less expensive as well as much faster turn around. He works at Art Walkers near 264 and Lynnhaven (Back by the laser tag place). They have a full blown body shop, as well as at least 15 - 20 mechanic bays. He said ask for Kevin or Jarrett. They are the engine guys.

Drove to the office this AM.... got on it pretty good more than a few times. I guess the U-Joints are holding. :D Thanks again Matt. Will have to buy me one of theose presses.... just a little smaller though!

Good Morning Lady and Gents (as well as you White 2012 owners) :stirthepot:! Luckily a short week ahead so I won't have to deal with the FNG too much!

    Welcome to the board!!

Has anyone here had to mod their fender flares for tire clearance in the rear? I finally climbed under the truck yesterday and was very surprised how much they were eaten up by my hungry tires from Shoecreek.

Basically... all private so beware! The owners and law are not as forgiving these days as they once were. Like everything else... there are the few who have to go to extremes and either tear shit up or litter like mad... so here is good reasoning behind the lack of understanding.

None the less, welcome and keep your eyes open here. Generally quite a bit going on... lots to do including empty your bank accounts, max out credit cards... and piss off lady friends.

You were in quite the pinched perdicament! I was editing some video Sun eve... and was checking out how low your rear was on the tire. I have a couple rub marks from the past trips... but nothing major, and I generally have to slam and bounce... hence U-Joint central :D! Maybe an AAL? It really seemed to be an oddity in the video.

Same goes for the old Lee Hall wheeling spot and behind Wal-Mart in Gloucester. The law and property owners will make an example out of you.

I checked the Jasper database and (for some reason) they do not have a 2.7 engine like I need for my truck. Just for curiosity I looked up the 6 cylinder price. The price on the 6 cylinder engines was $4400. WOW:eek::eek::eek:
Not sure if that price is installed or just the engine. Doesn't matter. I wouldn't be looking at putting that much money in an engine in the first place.

Maybe it was just the odd angle with those ruts near that eF-ing Glass Breaker! I'm sure that s where the rubbing occured. I smelled it once or twice...
