So the back-up cam only displays on the head unit now? I actually like the display in the rear view mirror.

See pic below. Just added an extra position on the rotary switch. So now I have off, DRL, running lights, and headlights

The reverse cam is still in the mirror. I didn't like it at first, but it's really grown on me the past couple of days.

I guess most people think both the latched and non-latched cubbies can be useless due to theft. I might put the little keyed latched in my rear cubbies, just one extra little step for crooks.

I agree about the sat/HD ready. When asking the dealer, they told me "it will be just like the touchscreen in the camry". I looked at it, but never even noticed there was no Sat ready sticker or anything because I just assumed it was going to be there...stupid me, hopefully this is a good heads up for anyone else looking at the 2013!

I'm planning to buy a HL module off ebay and install it. Already did this to my wife's wrangler, no biggie, just a PITA to have to deal with it...

There is about 2-3" between the console vault top and bottom of console lid when shut. So you have some room for random stuff in the console, and anything that takes up actual space, I have no problem throwing it in the vault. Eventually I might make some kind of organizer for inside the vault

Nope, take a look at the pictures in OP. Crazy! Never would have thought they'd remove the option!

No kidding. I didn't realize I didn't have satellite until I got it home. The truck is loaded, has everything but Entune. Just assumed sat radio would be there.

What is the homelink in the TRD OR mirror? Heard someone mention it, no idea what it is.

I cant tell because of the glare, do you have the blue guide lines in your mirror to guide you evenly into a parking spot?

Is there a bit more of a rake to the lights, or is that just the way the sun is hitting it?

    Congrats, btw!

Me too, I hate having to look down, my tundra had it in the mirror, was great. The guide lines alone are worth it.

Here's an example of a mirror with HL installed. Homelink is a module that allows you to operate garage doors, gates, or device that normally has some kind of remote opener. Helps compact all those remotes into one unit. You can get one in the mirror, or there's modules you can buy on ebay or wherever. Some Tacos came with it in 2012, maybe 2011. Not sure which 2013s get it though

Yes, I have the guidelines in the reverse cam display

Awesome truck man! I just got a 2012 double cab TRD Sport a while back and I absolutely love it so far - I really need to post some pics.

Quick question on your dashboard - what is that knob just below your left air vent next to your entune system? (to the left of your hazard lights button)

I dont know if that is a standard knob for other tacoma models, like i said I just got mine not too long ago and am new to Tacoma world.
